Brothers and Sisters,
With the significant health concerns related to COVID-19 and the restrictions across the United States and Canada and after consulting with the IAFF Motorcycle Group (IAFF-MG) National Committee, we have decided to postpone the IAFF-MG 2020 National Rally scheduled for September 13-16, 2020, in Bryce Canyon, Utah, until September 2022.
IAFF-MG members who have already pre-registered for the 2020 National Rally will be reimbursed for their registration fee and any pre-ordered merchandise.
We will continue working with IAFF-MG District 9 Coordinator Doug Rice and our Utah State Coordinator to get the Utah rally on track for 2022. In the meantime, planning for our 2021 Rally in New York will continue; we are hoping to have online registration available before December 31, 2020.
Like all of you, we are disappointed that we are unable to hold our 2020 National Rally in Utah, but we believe this is the safest and best path to ensure that we conduct our rallies and rides this year as best we can under the circumstances, guided by the information available to us today.
We will continue to provide updates on plans for all of our local, district and national events, rides and rallies as necessary.
Fraternally,
Harold A. Schaitberger
General President
